Mendota Rescue Drill
The Maple Bluff Fire Department organized a training exercise on Lake Mendota where a boat crash was simulated with victims in the water. The Dane County Sheriff, UW Lifesaving, and the Madison Fire Department, participated in the mock rescue. There was enough UW Lifesaving Staff on-board where I could just concentrate on capturing the video and take pictures. Here are shots from the collaborative staged rescue near Burrows park.
