Aerial photos of the Wind Point Lighthouse, north of Racine, Wisconsin. Mike, the Lighthouse keeper was interested in what I was doing, and was kind enough to help me with the remote control for the KAP rig. It was a fantastic fall afternoon, and had a perfect amount of steady wind to hover above the lighthouse. Winds were out of the SSW at about 14 mph heading up the coast of Lake Michigan. The Wind Point Lighthouse is 108 feet high and as been in service since 1880.
